The sportsman 850 is awesome. I have ridden one for three years now and it was awesome. I just recently upgraded to the 2011 touring model. It handles even better than the short wheelbase! I never had a problem with mine even after 1200 miles.
Ended up rolling it down a hill and it got totalled. That's the only reason I got a new one.
