Post 2000 sportsman 500

got a couple questions!

1st WHO makes the best cluch kit for yer $ for use around the farm, pulling trees, wagons, snow plowing exctra.? atv is stock with 27in. mud runner tires,lift kit,bumpers,3k winch front & rear?

2nd is there ANY upgrades to the rear shocks to make them stiffer/stronger??
got them set on the highst seting now evn put them ruber spacers in them but still sags when loaded??

3rd will the alt. batry run/hold up to runing a set of 75wat driving lights [stock suck] handel bar light is useless!!

Welcome to the site! I'm partial to the Dalton kits, but my riding style sounds different that yours. I won't discourage you from checking out Dalton or even calling them, but I also have to mention EPI. I have heard a lot of good things about them when it comes to the low end stuff.

As for the shocks, with the modifications mentioned, I'd have steer you toward complete replacement with Elka, Crutchfield, Fox, etc. I know Crutchfield interviews you so they can build the right shock for you and they will rebuild them at any stand they have set up at any event they are present. However, they are probably the most costly. The only other thing you might consider is doing a good bit of research and see if there are any other stock ATV Shocks that will bolt up. There are a lot of stiff quads out there. The brute force is one of them.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that your alt/bat will hold up to another 150w. I see this upgrade often.

epi simple to install and go, i run a heelclicker and love it but getting it right takes time to get it right. it is fully adjustable (springs and weights)
