Chinese Quads???
Anyone have any experience with the Kymco or the other off brand quads. I was just wandering what kind of machines they were.

Re: Chinese Quads???
I have heard really good things about the Kymco brand. But the ones with the Honda clone engines, STAY AWAY.
I bought one for my boy one time. It was so bad. Every time he would ride it the exhaust bolts and other bolts would fall out. The engine shaked so bad. I took the engine a part and the crank was bent from the factory. I complained and they sent me a new and it was the same way...lol Bottom line it was junk! But the Kymco is good from what i hear.

Re: Chinese Quads???
I know a mechanic who works for a big chain store here in Canada called what else but Canadian Tire . I'm not quite sure what brand they are recently carrying but I thought it was Baja but maybe another knockoff brand . I've only given them a passing glance and although they look the part and are cheap ,,according to my mechanic bud alot of stores won't be reordering because they are constantly being returned or warranty work having to be done . Cheaper often means just that . Junk . LOL

I have a 2007 TGB Outback 425C. It is rigged for muddin. It did great untill all in one night, both differentials busted. The yoke for the rear diff literally twisted in half. The front threw a bolt against the housing. They are extremely expensive to get parts for. I found out though that the frame and some of the other components are from a 2004 Suzuki Eiger. When I replaced the differentials with Suzuki parts, the bike has been great since. Also, the stock wheel bearings are doodoo. They need to be replaced before the bike ever sees a mud hole. Other than that, my son rides it now and has a blast tearing up the mud holes. He hits them full speed ahead. Thats my .02.

My kids have a 90cc go cart from China. It's not well built at all. The welds are pitiful, the wiring is very cheap. But the price was low. I guess you get what you pay for.
