Alitle heavy

[I found them a little heavy to Mud lites but they work , thou only a 450 I've put a few nieghbourhood 700's to shame , a very deep lug with side lugs that dig where others have made a straight rut , I have to get more pics on here , suzi works good , rode for 20 plus years on dirt bikes and then a few 3 wheelers .. found my self with this quad ... the bike just goes where I put it and comes through .... thinking of a lift kit but not sure on angle that cv will work comfortable at , purchased a chip through ebay from extreme Performance let you all how that works ...but having the time of my life at 49 ....I've flew 30 feet straight up on a Kawi 420 dirt bike and landed np , flat tracked a cr125 , scramble a home made off road go cart with a 600 Yahmaie at 80 plus down the back farm laneway but nothing has given me the pleasure of of this quad I go any where and evey where , Just love this sport ....

The New Guy!

Hello everybody! I found this site when I looked online for project Renegades. BusterW's Project X is amazing by the way. I cant wait to see what he does with it next. My wife and I are avid riders. I used to be very heavy into downhill mountain biking. A few years ago I switched over to ATV's and I haven't looked back. I love to ride. My wife and I own a 2008 KingQuad 450 and a 2009 Can Am Renegade 500. I love the Renegade. I've wanted one for a long time and I finally saved up enough pennies to get it! I'm excited to be here and I hope that as well as learning from other's experiences, I can share a few of my own. I plan on turning my own Renegade into kind of a project. I would really like to switch out the shocks. I just ordered a set of ITP SS312's a couple days ago. I can't wait. I think I'll do the exhaust next. Maybe HMF? Any input would cool too. Happy Trails!

Welcome to the site Mike. We look forward to hearing from you and your wife. As far as exhausts go I'd first see what's available for the 500 before settling on one brand. Some to consider other than HMF would be Big Gun, Leo Vince, Ron Wood, Muzzy, etc, etc. Not that there is anything wrong with HMF at all. HMF has a lot to offer and have a pile of options to boot (plus they sound really good). Good luck!
