Badassdaddy, I've found a new 2010 camo 850 XP for $7499.00. Was told the price would not change for at least another month. I haven't decided for sure, but I will most likely go that route.
I hunt, fish and have several acres to tend to, a utility better fits my lifestyle. The truth is I have a lead foot, and at 57 I don't heal as fast as I used to.
Thanks for the thread, Crazydave

I can't see where the 850 XP would be a bad choice either. It will get up and go and still should perform well as a utility. It's always a fun time buying a new quad. Especially your first. Have fun with it and make sure to give us pictures when you get it. Welcome to the site.

Tex4x4

I'm new to the atv utv world but not to 4x4 world. Live in Texas and love to work on the truck and explore. It's a great feeling when your rig gets you where you want to go.

This goes un-tested. I would get a service manual, but feel free to try it.

1.With ignition Key in the OFF position - Belt cover side of quad.

2.Unplug belt sensor (2 wire)(flat connector) and the 4 wire harness (square connector) next to it (black connector)

3.Jumper the orange/green wire to the gray (possibly gray/green) wire right next to it in the connector.

4.Turn the Key ON (Belt light should flash rapidly then flash slow) Do not turn the key off until slow flashing light occurs. Whole procedure takes about 10 seconds.

5.Turn Key Off

6.Plug in all connectors that were unplugged to do the reset procedure.

7.Turn Key ON to verify reset (If belt light flashes you either need to take you bike in for the recall on voltage spikes in the CDI circuit)
