I bought a Forcecut 50i from
Longevity a few months ago and love it. If you join

As a member of pirate4x4, you can get hellacious discounts on the Longevity machines by just calling them and telling them you are a pirate forum member and want to see what kind of discount you can get for whatever model you desire. On pirate, then run monthly specials on different models.
This is their board on
Pirate4x4 and as of the time of this post, it is 42 pages of nothing but priase.
All in all, the machine is very nice and for the price, you can't beat it. I got my 50i for a couple hundred off if I recall including shipping and got a 1/2 price deal on a $150 auto-darkening welding helmet. I have been really happy with my service and experience from them. They also included a pack of consumables which you will HAVE TO HAVE!
As I said, I got the 50i and will post the specs below. They also sell a 50d which is les expensive. The difference is the 50i has Mosfet electronics which make it more industrial than the 50d that does not have mosfet.
The 50i cuts up to 1" mild steel and stainless steel and up to 1/2 inch aluminum. Those are some pretty thick measurements! I have done 1/2 inch steel and 1/4 inch aluminum and it did fine. The 1/2 steel caused me to have to slow my cut but it still sliced right through it MUCH better than a regular torch and without leaving the debris that you have to grind so much.
If you have more questions, post and I will help you.
