Aftermarket clutch for MXU500

Hi,

I found the stock clutch in MXU500 might become blue in hill climbing.
Does anyone know how to improve the clutch quality of MXU500? The video in say Dr.Pulley HiT clutch is good for MXU,
Are there anyone knows something about it?

Hi, you can try Dr.Pulley HiT clutch. (HiT301501 is for MXU 500)

HiT clutch has the special Pillow Spring and Push Pin mechanism.

The stock clutch only has one set of spring (clutch spring) to decide the initial engaged rpm.

The Pillow Spring of HiT clutch can determine the fully engaged rpm you want.

It’s really helpful for you to tuning a best riding performance that you need.

The design of the Push Pin is for solving the blue bell problem.

When the centrifugal force is stronger than the strength of Clutch Spring, the clutch weight will fly outward and touch the clutch bell ( begin to slip ).

As the friction resistence between the clutch shoes and bell is larger than the Pillow Spring, the push pin will work and its strong thrust force will push the clutch shoes to grab the clutch bell very tightly ----- the blue bell is no more likely to happen.

Seems like we have a bit of trolling here. Two posts from people in Taiwan. One with the problem the other with the solution.

We will send him the HiT clutch for MXU 500 to test his riding performance.

aftermarket clutch

It's a good thing that you found a stock clutch in MXU500. Honestly, I don't know how to improve clutch quality because I just replace mine and I got it from Kymco Parts.com.
