'08 KFX450r susp/wheels/tires

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if my quad dont sell im gonna mod it some more....
its an '08 kfx450r with all stock besides the intake, exh, and PC5...

plan on doin full suspension...widening the front and rear a little....
do mostly light wide open trail riding, hardly any rough rough areas and no racing...

lookin to get a set of Hiper dual beadlocks in the rear and a single lock front.

what i need to know is where to get them and what size do i need to get?
can i go ahead and run them now and then swap them over when all the new mods are done...or do i need to wait for a full setup? i didnt know if i would need diff sizes/offsets with diff suspension

also looked into ITP holeshot xc, xd or gncc tires or the Maxxis razr2...need to know sizes on them as well

So if it dont sell I wanna have a game plan.
Mostly used for trail riding, but never any tight woods. We ride a lot of open trails, some rough and some flat and wide open. but you never know where we.are gonna ride so I need a universal setup I guess...So im wantin to do some suspension work, front and rear and an axle setup in the rear for some extra width. Anybody have any opinions and suggestions?

Hey, I got your PM. On the KFX450R build I did, I ran the ITP Holeshot GNCC tires. The fronts were 21x7x10 and the rears were 20x10x9.

For the wheels, we used the Hiper Racing CF1 beadlocks with mudplugs on the rear. 10x5 on the front and a 10x9 on the rear. I do not remember the offset but they come in a 3+2 or a 4+1. The wheels were ultra light and the tires performed VERY well!

We actually got them from a dealer on eBay and got a pretty good price on them. BUT, I do not remember what that price was. It was the best we found anywhere though.

If you know what offset you want, and a good dealer can make a recommendation on that. The offset you want doesn't matter what you do with suspension or when you put it on. I would put them on as soon as I got them.

I hope that helps.

Buster
