Has anybody done any timing advance key on a KFX700? And if you did, could you tell a difference? Thank you.

I have never done it. I have heard form some engine builders say it isn't worth doing.

Are you considering it?

Don't know about the mod yet. Just wondering if anyone heard anything else about it. I was just trying to look for some other mods to do before going into the engine. I don't know if you have seen any of my other threads, but I have hot cam jet kit, the 12 hole breather mod, k and n filter, pro circuit exhaust, after market cdi box, all the dalton springs, the fly weights and the overdrive clutch cover. If you wouldn't mind sharing, what all mods do you have done to your KFX700? Thank you.

I have pretty much the same mods that you do with the exception of the Hot Cams jet kit. I have my carb slides polished and the needles shimmed with a #4 brass washer.

Are you going to try replacing the intake with the crossover intake?

What color spring are you running for the clutch?

Hmm...I installed that spring, it was a bit too much stall. I finally went with the blue spring which to me seems a bit better.

Yeah, that is what I heard about the orange and blue spring, but I am a bigger guy and figured I needed a little extra. It is a little nasty on take off, but I kind of like it. I just have to find some better tires for traction. I have whole shots on there right now and I leave about a 300 foot trench behind my 4 wheeler from them not hooking up. Any suggestions on any better tires?
