The rule of thumb
0.1 mm (0.0041n.) change in spacer (shim) thickness equals about 1.3mm (0.051in.) change in belt deflection

You remove shims to tighten the belt & add shims to loosen.

Fan motor Breaker- Part # 21008-0001- Fan not working this is more than likely the culprit. Under the seat with a green reset switch.
