Avid Bow Hunter, Looking for the best atv for getting into the woods, steep hills, mud and stone. I had a 700 king quad and liked it, how ever I did get stuck a few times and thought i shouldn't have. Was weary going down and side climbing steep hills. I have nothing to compare it to.

Welcome to the site Little Sister. It sounds to me that you need a quad with a low center of gravity and a good set of tires.

I can tell you first hand that a Yamaha Grizzly 660 with a set of Maxxis Mud Buggs will climb like a monkey. My Can-am Outlander also seems to have a low center of gravity. I'm still running stock tires and they aren't the best, but they beat dumflops (normal stock tires on every other quad).

You will want to consider the width of your tires also. Wider = better for off camber situations. You may even consider wheel spacers.
