Guns!

OK,
I am in the mood for a new pistol. I don't know what I want to get yet, but I am leaning towards a H&K Socom or USP variant. I want to look around though too.

So lets see what you guys have as far as handguns go.

It's a Sig Sauer P229 with Crimson Trace laser grips. It's my go to weapon for CCW typically.

The first two pics are of my SA XD40 w/ ported barrel and GLT21 light/laser combo. I love it minus the muzzle flash. The third picture...is what I would seriously consider if I were in the market. It is a SA 1911 Operator. The first 1911 with a rail. The SA 1911 is a timeless, accurate, powerful, serious firearm. Visit their website to look at their many other models.

And here are a few other range guns. Sig Sauer 220, 220 Sport, Ruger Vaquero 44 mag for bear territory, and a Makarov (German) as my trail gun.

If I had all those auto's I'd get another revolver. Perhaps a .357 or if you want to go extreme a .460.

The Surefire tac light is the best I've found. Muzzle blast doesn't efect it and it's a smaller light with unreal brightness.

My wife loves it when she's stumbling around the bedroom in the dark and I yank it from under the pillow to light the room up so she can see.

I'm just really a Glock fan. My dad just bought an H&K 17mm that shoots the small rifle shell looking shells. He had not fired it and we "assumed" it would sound like a .22. I fired it in my backyard in my neighborhood and it sounded like a damned rifle. My wife bolted out the door after I fired it and it wasn't purdy.

Damned women!!!

I have a .357 and a .38 and a handful of .22's. I am not that much of a revolver guy. I like the old school single action revolvers though.

Well I only assumed you didn't have any other revolvers so I mentioned that to maybe balance the collection. That not being the case, and you already have a nice collection 1911s, may as well get the weapon you have your mind set on.

I can't argue with surefires capabilities. I used their lights on weapons and I also own a regular compact light by them. They are super bright considering their size and I've also found mine to be durable.
