Hunting, Fishing & the OutdoorsGot a story about the "BIG" one that got away?
Let's post pics of the season's harvest here. Deer, elk, bear, turkey, grouse, fish...whatever. Let's see your prize.
(Please try to keep the photos as decent as possible. In other words, lets not post a picture of blood and guts. While this is all a part of the hunt / catch, it creates a bad image for the non hunting population.)
Still early here as the leaves haven't dropped yet but I will try and post some pics of the harvest I have this season .

Same here Trapper. Season is just around the corner though. The reason I went ahead and posted is because I've learned that in some states the season has opened. Hopefully I'll get to get into the woods this season long enough to put some meat in the freezer. It's been a LONG time since I've had a good tenderloin. My cousin was gracious enough to make and mail me some deer jerky last season when I was stuck in Iraq.
As soon as I knock down the neighbors cat .... .... I'll be sure to post some pic's !!! .... and even some of the hide all stretched out .... & the meat on the Bar-B !!!
Let the good times begin !!!! .....
Later ...

OK here are the pics of the living and the no longer. he ain't the biggest around but nice for a neighborhood. Bow season opened in GA a couple of weeks ago. This was the first time I pulled the bow back since the season before last.
I was on the horn with GW last night and another 10pt crossed my driveway and was standing in the straw. We both looked up and noticed each other at about the same time and he bolted. Took an alternate route to my feeder and was down there in 10.
