SPRINGFIELD XD40 w/ PORTED BARREL

Here's a few pics of my home defense system. As the title says, SA XD40 with the ported barrel. Also has a glock laser/light combo on the rail. I've talked about this weapon in several posts when I was in Iraq, thought I'd share it with ya'll.

Very nice piece. Keep a clost eye on the upper receiver as they were prone to prematurely rust. You know the drill though proper PMCS.

Re: SPRINGFIELD XD40 w/ PORTED BARREL

Well, she sat for a good while with no tlc and there isn't any rust on her. I do try to keep my firearms in good operating order. The only grip I have with it is the ported barrel carbs up the front sight post after about 2 rounds. Of course who needs that with the Glock light/laser installed.
