The swift is legendary, but we can't forget the 22-250 guys. This rifle is no slouch.

I use the 25-06 in the Browning BAR and let me tell you, it impresses me more everytime I drop a deer with it. Fast and flat!

Shortest shot, 3'. Scared the heck out of me when it stood up.

Longest shot, 586 yards. Scared the heck out of it when something smacked it out of nowhere.

That's funny right there.

It's been a while since I've heard anyone talking about a 25-06. They were red hot for a while, then just fell off the radar. I've never had the chance to shoot one. I've heard comparisons of the 25-06 with the .270? I wouldn't know though, don't have any trigger time with either.

I alway did like that .25-06.

Shoots flatter and fast than the .270 due to the lighter bullets. It has proven to be a great Whitetail round.
