Re: big buck's

I haven't got to hunt for the last few years! Next year I'll see what I can do for a picture/wall hanger.

Re: big buck's

Here are a few shots of two that come to my feeder behind my house. Naturally, not during daylight hours.

Re: big buck's

Couldn't you figure out where they're bedding down if they are feeding in you're back yard? Man I'd have to harvest one of those (legally of course).

Re: big buck's

I only wish it was that easy. I actually live in a nieghborhood with roughly 500 houses. I have almost 3 acres. A fella around the corner from us has 3200 acres and is a big time hunter. I think he's more into birds than deer. But, he's recently started doing some kind of organzied hunts on his property for birds and deer and that big buck has been appearing over there from what I've heard through the grape vine. The property owner has offered people over their $1,000 if they can shoot him. What an arse.

I'm sure he has a plethora of food plots that are more enticing than my feeder. Shortly after those pictures were taken, my deer traffic took a severe plunge. I've had them coming in great for a couple of years now. Shot 7 last year. I was getting at least 3-4 deer a night and sometimes 7-8 on the camera. Since early December, all I've seen are two measley doe that come in together but they've slowed down now too.

As for the buck, I've been trying to get that sucker for 2 seasons now. At one time, in some close up shots from early last season, we counted 17 points on him.

Oh well, better luck next year if he survived this past season.

Buster
