Rubicon tranny?/
Hey Ya'll, I have a 2002 rubicon, was riding in the woods, shifted from 4th down to 3rd, and GRRRR STOP! it acted as if the transmission was stuck in both gears at the same time. I was not under a huge load, just a slight incline. Also, once stopped, I had a hard time gettint the L/H/N/R shifter back into neutral. I worked it a few times, rolled the machine ahead and back, looked for a lodged stick somewhere/anywhere(didn't find one), etc. finally got it to go into forward/reverse, but it was still as if the transmission was stuck in 2 gears at once. It wasn't moving. While in "gear", I applied a little throttle, and the engine was triyng to pull. Any ideas? either here or to my e-mail. tom29cat at yahoo. Thanks!
