UTV, replace Jeep ?

When will ATV's UTV's and ROV's replace Jeeps for off road travel?

I don't think that they will ever totally replace Jeeps but they are sure taking a big bite out of the offroad traveling choice.

They have made a difference already. It is rare to find a true "Jeep road" anymore. It seems like roads are either a wide main road, or an ATV width trail. All of the old Jeep roads are now ATV roads, because everyone that used to be out exploring the back country in their Jeeps is now doing it with their ATVs.

ATVs are still quite limited in fuel range, and in the fact that for the most part you have to return to where you started, to go back on the trailer at the end of the day. A Jeep can leave the pavement, travel 200+ miles, and re-enter the pavement in a different place to drive back home at the end of the day.

I have both, ... two Jeeps, and two ATVs.
