warning.

Warning to all atv riders. i purchased a brand new Can Am DS450 xmx from Performance East Inc or East Carolina Powrsports (North Carolina Powersports - Your Polaris Yamaha Seadoo Can-Am Victory ATV UTV Watercraft Sportboat Motorcycle dealer in Eastern North Carolina) from out of state. When the bike arrived at my house i notice the bike had been used. i figured since it was a 2009 model it would have some wear from the show room, but this bike had been used.

The first clue that i has been ripped off was when the bike would not start. i replace the battery and got the bike to run. But once the bike warmed up it would stall and would not start. after several tries later I gave up and took the bike to the local dealer in Miami.

The Dealer plugged the computer in and we found that the bike had 22 hours and no service. Later the dealer calls me and tells me that the bike had been over filled with oil and all the sensors needed to be removed and cleaned. No big deal the bike is new and should be under warranty. Wrong! Since its a human error to over fill the bike with oil Can Am will not cover this repairs.

My issue with Performance East and East carolina Powersports (North Carolina Powersports - Your Polaris Yamaha Seadoo Can-Am Victory ATV UTV Watercraft Sportboat Motorcycle dealer in Eastern North Carolina) is that they sold me a used bike as new and not properly maintained bike. I call, and they do not respond, i email them and they call the local repair place liars.

Do not buy or deal with Performance East and East Carolina Powersports (http://www.ncpowersports.com/)

latest update: the bike is still at the shop. it's been 4 weeks and they are still correcting the damages from Performance East. The engine has been removed and gutted.

i spoke to BRP customer service today, and they filed an official complaint vs Performance East. What does that mean? i do not know, but i requested to continue and speak with the regional sales manager.

Customer service gave me a little history about the bike. As i posted before Performance East stated that they purchased the bike from another dealer and they had no idea the condition of this bike. Hard to believe that this transaction happen in 2009 over a year ago and they had no idea about the condition of the bike. i can't see how a bike sits around your show room for over a year and nobody knows about the bike. i guess the lies continue.

i like to thank everyone who been reading my post, and specially the mods. on another forum sponsored by Performance East all my post have been deleted and locked. Again i like to thank you mods for allowing me to exercise our first amendment. i have been able to reach out to over 5k viewers.
