Warn RT25 Review

I have had my warn RT25 for about 8 months now and it has performed very well. It has never left me stuck in the mud. It performs under a load extremely well without any hesitation. When the RT25 is working it is so quiet you have to stop and listen for a second to even hear it. Overall construction of the winch is very good. Much better then previous Warn Winch Models.

Changing from free spool to geared is extremely easy on the RT25 with the nice handle.

Overall finish and appearance was excellent. The winch is sealed and has a very rugged case. I don't think you can damage one of these!

I mounted the RT25 on an Aluminum Products mounting plate. I chose to buy an aluminum mounting plate over the common steel do to long term lasting quality. The aluminum plate is extremely well built. It has no welds. It fit extremely well and looks great too!

I just wanted to add this. Today I pulled out a F150 who was stuck really good in the snow with my winch. My ATV alone is not powerful enough to pull it out so I hooked a strap up to the back and then hooked the strap to a tree to keep me from moving forward. Then I used my winch to pull the F150 out. For a 2500lb winch I am very amazing it did so well. Awesome winch!
