25'' Maxxis Big Horns
So far I have a few hundred miles on my big horns and all i can say is WOW! What an improvement over stock tires! They handle extremely well, they corner like glue, and they ride on pavement extremely smooth. I did notice a slight thump at speed over 50 but that should go away after the tires break in a bit.
These tires have done well in deep water but they do not compete with mud tires by any means in extremely deep thick mud. They are still a big improvement in the mud over stock.
In sand these tires really shine! I was going up some good sized hill climbs with no problem! These tires do not spin and dig in like my stock tires always did. They really glide right over the sand.
Once i get some more time with my Big Horns I will post some more!
Mack
P.S. Cant wait to try them in the snow!!

Got bored and tried the 10s in the front

Dude, once again you are right on point. I'm thinking about lowering the pressure in my BH's. What are you running now? I get the feeling that if I drop the pressure a few pounds I will be a powersliding FREAK!

did you loss any power with these tires? I'm thing about buying a set of these tires later this year to replace the stock tires. Is there real a big difference between these and the stockers.I plan on atving this winter on the Quebec trails that will be groomed most of the time and am wondering how well they will do on the snow covered trails.

You will see a difference in performance running 25" bighorns. They are significantly heavier than stock, but they are by far the best all around tire I have ever run. I wouldn't leave home without them!

I didn't notice that big of a difference. They sure do grip better then stock. The gains overpower the loss.
Throw a set of Grizzly 700 stock aluminum rims on there with the horns and I don't think you'll notice much. The 700 rims are alot lighter then the 450 steel rims.

I have 26x14's on my Grizz. It took noticable power, but I have 4 450 weights I was going to install to offset the low end I lost. Easy, simple, fast solution.
IMHO, the best tire will be the one that doesn't make you walk back to the truck. All tires are subject to punctures, but we don't hear too many stories of the horns leaving people flat.

I honestly didn't notice anything too drastic. My top speed is around 52-53 on dirt. Which with stock tires I was able to get around 54-55. I didn't think they hurt the acceleration much because my stock tires used to just spin when I gassed it. These actually grip and get me going.
I ran a drag race with stock tires and stock steel rims against my buddy who has stock steel rims and 25'' big horns on his 450. Both machines were stock engines. I couldn't beat him by much. Maybe 2-3 feet. He is about the same weight as me.
