Which 90cc for my son

It's time to get my son a new atv and I can't make up my mind which is the best bang for the buck. I'm looking at the CanAm DS90,Polaris Outlaw 90 and the Kymco Mongoose 90. The areas we ride are very diverse from open dunes to tight twisties in the woods. My only requirement is it must be an automatic with reverse which narrows the search a bit. I've been searching for reviews for several days now but still have trouble deciding which one. The price difference for the 2011 models is 400 dollars with the Polaris on top, Kymco on bottom and CanAm pricing out right in the middle. All suggestions and help is welcome. Thanks

I would like to chime in and say the CanAm model is a very nice machine. It looks great, runs great for a little 90 and on top of that, is a Can Am which I am a huge fan of. That being said, my daughter got her first ATV at 3 and it is a Polaris 50. I ride it more than she does and I look quite queer since it's pink, but it is built OK. The front suspension is pretty crappy though as the front tires boe out with any more than very little weight on them. As for the Kymco, if it were me, I would stay away from anything but a name brand.

Given the option between the 3 for my daughters next quad, it will be, without a doubt, the Can Am because of my experience with Can Am and their reliability and durability.

Sexton, Turpin, & Linville on bikes - Health, Hopkins, & Hart on ATVs pile up the major accolades - while King Cobra & CX65 are successfully re-engineered is the best 90cc

My vote would be DRR, Apex, Kymco, then maybe a Polaris or Can-Am. The Can-Am X package is setup well, but if it is ever going to be raced, go with one of the first three. The price to go to a DRR, Apex, or Kymco is worth it IMO. NOTE: I'm a huge Can-Am guy, but their kids quad is a pile.
