I would rekon with your dealer, but feel your frustration. What I've heard as a solution for this on many different makes of quads is to clean it down really good. I mean really good. Then let it dry really good. Then take all the electrical connections (the plug type) apart and ensure they are clean and dry. After that give them a dose of dye electric grease. This has solved many electrical issues. Note: you may have to replace a sensor to get things right again.
I might add that it helped with my truck's towing electric hookup as well.
