As with most things, it kinda depends on what type ridding you do. I have Silverbacks on mine. I have friends with Outlaws on theirs. We all seem to get through the same holes a little differently tho. In my opinion, if you are into tire spinnin mud slingin type ridding, then I'd suggest the outlaws. If your into less tire speed but plowin through a hole, then silverbacks. They both seem to get the job done, just in different style. Now don't get me wrong, you can sling the mudd with silverbacks, but they take more hp to sling mudd because they are a little more rigid and laws are a little more flexible at the tips of the tread/lugs. Hope this helps. By the way, what part of MS you in? I'm in Hattiesburg.

Welcome to the site.

I think Maxmud is right about the choices. Another thing to consider, you have a 500 so turning either tire type is going to be a struggle.

Do you or are you going to install a TRD?

Max is pretty much on point from everything I've read and watched. Welcome to the site.

Max...you live in Hattiesburg! Wow. Really small world. I test drove a Renegade X down at a dealership in Hattiesburg waiting on a ride. I was on pass while demobbing at Camp Shelby. Hattiesburg has a pretty good night life too. lol

When I was working Katrina and driving from Jackson to Gulfport Hattiesburg was my mid point for scraping the lovebugs off my truck. LOL.

I spent the night there a couple of times, pretty interesting night life indeed. I guess that's what you get in a college town.

Trd?

This may be a stupid question but what is a TRD and what will it do for my wheeler?

Sorry for the delay, I've been quite busy. The TRD is my exhaust. It is a good system. It came with the wheeler when I bought it. I might consider a packingless system for my next muffler tho. Just to try to avoid mud in the packing.

I don't know where you guys went for the nite life, but I wish I knew you guys back then. We could have had a great time. Things have changed here some since then. The club scene is different, some better choices now. Maybe next time.
