ATVTorture servers

I know that this has been mentioned before but I think it is worth mentioning again.
Who ever is hosting this forum needs to be changed.
My research shows that its probably GoDaddy.com
I am a member of several forums and this is absolutely the worst behaving server I have ever seen. I get nothing but connection problems EVERY time I try to do anything on this forum.
The only thing that keeps me here is that it is a very organized forum with very knowledgeable and friendly participants.

Who ever the administrator of the website is needs to call GoDaddy (if thats the host) and get the problem corrected or find a new host.

( i started trying to post this about 10 minutes ago)

Re: ATVTorture servers

Sorry for all the hang ups there desertrat. I'm pretty confident in saying that the problem is being addressed and will probably be resolved before too long.

Thanks for your patience bro.

Re: ATVTorture servers

Thanks for your post DR. I've experienced a speed issue myself at home but another Admin on the site isn't so we assumed it was my ISP somehow.

We will check into it further so as to prevent future frustrations for you and posibly others.

Thanks!
Buster

Re: ATVTorture servers

Well, after further review, I see you have the same ISP as do I, Cox Communications. By the way, now that I'm at work, my speed is normal.

And yes desertrat you are correct. It is Godaddy who is our host. We were working on our migration along with the new site cut over when our current host did not want to cooperate to well.

We are still planning to remove our ties with Godaddy. But we want to eliminate and little impact with the community members as possible.

Hopefuly you are not experiencing the same problems that you were on the old site with this site.

Good luck, and thanks for being patient.

GW
