PROBLEMS WITH SITE LOADING

I've been having problems for the past couple of days getting the site to load? Is there something going on? I do not erase cookies very often.

I have been having the same problem. To make sure that we were not having database issues I disabled some of the adds.

It's slow here too. I thought it was just me. I can't even really view it from home with a cable connection. At work with the T1 it will load, but slow like dialup.

Hope it's an easy fix. Seems to be working a tad better now, but I'm at work. I'll have to wait till I get home to see how she's doing.

Does the main site seem to load OK, meaning if you just go to atvtorture.com?

I noticed late last night the forum was horribly slow to load.

I've run some forum maintenance routines to try to speed things up. It's running better for me at home tonight than it did last night so I don't know if turning off some of the ads helped, or the maintenance or both.

Please post back how it's seem to be running.

The site is very slow to load on my end.
Sometimes requiring several pushes of the refresh button to get the page to display.
The last refresh of the mail page took nearly a minute to load.
Mac computer
COX high speed internet.
Firefox 3.0.1
