OK, I've been working on a logo and a deal for decals and T's, possibly even hoodies if we have enough wants for hoodies.
I want to note that for us to print a particular type of item, we have to have enough demand for it to be cost effective. I also want to say that we're doing these as non-profit. Once we get a final count of demand, we'll assess the price for the screen printing and the shirts and hoodies, plus shipping fees. Then I'll do a re-post with final amounts for each item.
I've posted a poll above so please vote on what you would buy should the price be in or very close to the POSSIBLE ranges noted below. On shirts and hoodies, the logo will NOT be as 3d looking as the one below. On decals it will. Prices are completely dependent on quantity printed so these are purely estimates at this point:
Shirt/hoodie prices noted below are from what I've heard are a very good quality cotton product.
Shirts with low-res logo (black only): $12-18each
Hoodies with low-res logo (black only): $25-34each
Shirts with high-res logo (black only): $25-34each
Hoodies with high-res logo (black only): $40-45each
Side fender decals, no logo: $9each
Gas tank decals with logo: $14 each
Prior to us making an initial order, we'll have to pre-pay so we will require a paypal payment to have you included in the initial order. Again, once everything is finalized, I'll post details about that with a cut-off date for the first order. Everyone that has paid by the cut-off date will get what they paid for within a couple of weeks. Let me add that decals will be much faster delivery time than shirts/hoodies and could be shipped possibly within a day or two. Shirts/hoodies will be a couple of week delivery time to alllow for printing and shipping.
Any of the above noted decals can be printed for a vehicle, in the same size, same price obviously.
Just some constructive criticism, please don't get upset. I have no ability to create any of these or the knowledge. I like your preliminary design, it's nice and clean, but I just feel we need a logo that ties into atving a bit more. I like nice simple logos like these. http://www.autoblog.com/ http://www.jonfund.com/ http://www.freedomtrailriders.org/
Here's one we were working on with a Graphic artist for Northeastatvers (it's similar to Jonfund). We didn't end up using it (long story)
Part of the reason for the basic logos was the ease of getting these stickers vinyl cut along with endless colors choice. they could also get embroidered on shirts and hats easily. to me those are key things we need to keep in mind. One year when we're walking around the Indy dealer show or SEMA, it would be nice to have pit mechanic shirts embroidered with our logo.
Let me start off by saying I'm not one that's easily offended so don't fret. On the down side, sometimes that makes me come off as abrasive since I don't find things easily offensive. What can I say.
Anyway, we have a new member of the group that is actually in the sign business. He also does t-shirts. Boring 1 or 2 color logos for decal purposes is not an issue as he can print them in 3D, multi-color for us if our logo is designed to warrant that. We can have a minimal color version of the logo for screen printing and stitch purposes and I actually have done that the for the logo below.
All that being said, if the logo below is a bust, then we'll continue in a quest to design a new one.
I don't think we want to do the tire track thing in our logo and I'll give my reasoning. Just as photographers have over-used a piece of film-strip in their advertising on websites and brochures, ATV and off-road sites have WAY overused tire tracks. For example, both of the NE ATV logos above use tire tracks, as does Jonfund.com. Highlifter uses tire tracks as their background. I think we need to step outside that box and be different. Our logo also needs to be something that incorporates the "Torture" theme since it's our name so keep that in mind. Just my opinion.
All that being said, my idea with the logo below was that it was a bit grunge/torturous looking. However, as you said, it doesn't incorporate the "ATV" idea. I did put a gear looking thingy in the background to try to give it a hint motorcycleness.
Anyway, we want input so everyone give input.
Thanks!
Buster

Well, it would be possible to use the ATVTorture image in the banner but it's not really a "logo" per se. One of the sites Koko noted above has a VERY simple logo, almost too simple, but it gave me an idea. the autoblog site has a gauge needle out beside "AutoBlog". Whereas that did give me a slight idea of how to incorporate the ATV idea, I still don't have another idea for the totrture part of the name and that's a must. I'll continue to brain fart, I mean storm.

I agree with the tiretracks. THe northeast logo was a copy essentially of Jonfund. I just always liked that simplistic design. Then we had the tracks pointed to the northeast and were supposed to make the circle look like a compass etc.
That said, back to our logo. I'm trying to think of a torture related item. I just google imaged torture and it wasn't pretty. LOL
How about a whip that's a towrope? Start on one side of the logo and underline the words AtvTorture.com
