I still dont know what to do, I want the more aggressive of the two and all i would take with me would be extra fuel. If you have any other thougts to help make this easier i would Appreciate them.

Here's a thought. Go to a dealer and look at both of them, sit on them, and test ride them if you can. If you cant decide which one you like better after that, then flip a coin. Seriously, they are both incredible, and I would think you would be more than happy with either one. Kind of like if you were asked to choose between Lucy Pinder and Alice Goodwin (both are models in the UK, do a Google search). You can't loose, either choice is going to be an awesome ride.

I def. like your reasoning 3TV.
Having read 3TV's ride reports (which are top notch) I would have to say I'd choose the Outlander simply because you have more flexibility than with the Gade. The peformance reports suggest little difference in performance considering so it's a real no brainer for me. Now if I could keep my 09 Outlander and get the gade, well, that's a different story altogether.

See as a Gade owner Nate, I have to disagree. Although I love the look of the new Outlander, I would, given the choice between it and the new Xxc Renegade, choose the Renegade if I were him because he said he would never be carrying anything but extra fuel. Therefore, the extra racks are just a waste of weight in my opinion. He could get a Renegade, buy the CanAm accessory rear Reengade rack which I just bought, and have plenty of room to strap down a 5 gallon jug of fuel or a cooler.
Just my opinion though.

So do you think i should keep my outlander 650 xt for longer rides / utility work and buy the renegade for fun weekend day rides? although keeping it right new would be a wast when i can use it to off set the cost of the renegade

I don't think the "longer rides" has much to do with it as the seat on the Renegade is very comfortable. I'm not really sure how it could be more comfy. As far as utility, it can pull just as heavy a load with a hitch as the Outty, and as you previously said, the most you would carry is extra fuel. If you don't need all the rack space of the Outty, I don't see where you need it. My rack is perfect for a color or gas jug or chainsaw, just not all of them at once. If I need all of them at once, I'm either screwed or I improvise.
That being said, if your budget is such that you can afford to keep the Outlander and go buy a Renegade, go do that and then decide if you continue to use the Outlander enough to justify keeping it. I doubt you will though.

Well I can certianly appreciate that outlook. I guess maybe I was considering my own needs/wants more than his. I agree also that if the budget is there to have both, keepem. Can't have too many quads right.
