I ride 2009 renegade x (stock tires), wondering how much of a difference a clutch kit makes to performance,

B-Dubya is running a kit on his Gade and I'm pretty sure he liked it. I have a Dalton on my Outlander and the difference is phenominal with stock tires. It's also adjustable so I can add larger tires and make some adjustments with the weights and still be good to go.

Run the Dalton kit in your Renny you wont regret it. If your staying with the stock tires dalton has a kit with the green spring that will improve your clutch big time.
But if your planning on going with oversize tires Dalton also has the mudrunner kit which is what i run in both of my bikes.. and it gets back all that loss power. huge improvement and wouldn't run with out it..
Heres a link to daltons website

As for EPI, I dont know of meny people that have them in there clutch up here in northern canada but might be different else where. someone will have to chime in about them i have little experiance with them in a Can am. I know a Yamaha will benifit the EPI.
just my opinion but, you cant go wrong with which ever one you choose.
Cheers,

I started out doing a Dalton kit on my Renegade and was pretty impressed with it when I did it. Then, with some extra mods to the machine, I decided to go with a stage 5 machined clutch setup from airdam. By swapping the primary spring out, and making somee adjustments to my weights, I was able to get the factory sheave dialed in pretty darned good I think aside from going with an entirely new billet clutch setup from STM. The STM clutches are phenomenal, are highly tunable, very durable and very expensive. But, ya gotta pay if ya wanna play.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with the setup I got from Adam at Airdam and he was very willing to help me tweak my setup for optimum performance.
