Well we have two Renegade 800s, one that has power steering and one that doesn't. The one without power steering has an aftermarket exhaust and is quite a bit faster. But if I am riding alone and can choose either one to ride I always choose the one with power steering. It is a lot more enjoyable to ride with the easier steering.
Maybe the Commander doesn't need power steering, but I'll bet it would be better if it had power steering. I still don't think not having power steering would prevent me from getting one though.

Is the power steering on the Gade speed sensitive like the Yamaha? The RZR EPS seems 100% assisted. When on and in park, you can literally turn the steering wheel with just your finger.
Now that I'm back in the loop, I find myself completely torn. I know I want to make the switch from quad to SXS and I was pretty set on the RZR S, but this machine demands attention. And at the same price (more or less) as a RZR S, I'm completely obligated to try one out before I make the decision, or at least wait to talk with someone who has driven one. I just don't know if I can wait until November to make the switch! ARGH!!

Were you able to wait? People are starting to receive their Commanders and are loving them! Sounds like the X's should start hitting dealers next month...right now, dealers are receiving their XT's.
