I just bought a 07 renegade 800. I want to put 28 mudzilla on it! does it fit right there or do i need to lift the renegade? and what are the must have that i should buy? i just order my snorkel and i already have a run wood pipe, a clutch kit and a power commander. thank you and by the way it's nice to have a forum like here to get some info...

Sounds to me like the only left is the tires. I'm not sure if the 27's will fit or not, but heck, try it out. I'm thinking it will be close. Worse case you'll have to buy the lift and install before riding.

I misread you. I have my doubts about the 28's fitting if they are true to size, but you don't know until you try. The 800R powerplant will turn 28's no problem without any modifications. A clutch kit would be the only thing I would recommend, but again, I don't think it would be "necessary". You are going to be amazed with all the mods you're putting on/in. Just do me this favor...HANG ON! And get us some pictures.

Since you have the power commander, I would also recommend you getting the 50mm throttle body that the 09 Renegade has as well as the 09 intake and filter. The guys that have the 07-08 Renegades that have done this say that it helps it tremendously.

Then you could do some MrRPM cams and pistons to really wake it up.

What clutch kit do you have?

I am running and airdam clutch setup with modifiued dalton weights, stock secondary spring and a white EPI primary spring in my 09 800-X.

I've been pondering the STM secondary clutch from Supreme Tool but everyone says once you do that, you will WANT to get the STM primary since the stock primary isn't very tunable compared to the tunability of the STM pieces.

I've attached pics of the secondary and the 6 weight primary they sell.

Welcome,

not sure about the lift. One of the Can Am guys can answer hopefully. I would definitely do the snorkel. You may consider the pipe if you don't mind the louder noise.
