East Coast ATV Snorkels Turned Ram-Air, Heck yeah!
Ain't this purdy turning my east coast atv snorkel setup into a ram-air setup. I know, just playing around and it's queer, but it is a thought to see how well a ram-air setup will help. Hmmm.....Problem with that setup, as sexy as it is ( ) , is that I plow a bunch of limbs and trees in my trail rides and it would be only a matter of minutes before that jewel was snagged off. Course I guess on trail rides I could flip in around it the proper position. I need to test in on my local dyno that I have just found with their HD fan blowing in it to see what the dyno shows for an increase.

I would imagine that would increase horsepower for sure. You could leave it that way and put a small screen kind of like a spark arrestor in the opening.

Yeah I was really just screwing around when I did that cuz it is something I've always wanted to try on a quad to see what kinda gains it gets. I may try it out to see how it works and if it seems to work well, come up with something a little fancier looking.

I Gotta Know
The east coast snorkel kit is a must for me because of where I ride (and of coarse the auwfull location of the air filter) but performance is equally important. I was wondering if you could tell me how close in size (inside diameter) is the air intake pipe to the 46mm throttle body. I really would love to hear the lowest restriction possible, but tell me the truth please, thanks

Ahhh. This is what makes Blown Concepts unique. When you call, ask for Robb and tell him the folks at ATVTorture sent you. Then tell him what you want. He does not mass produce graphics, he creates a scheme and style catering to what you want it to look like.
Good luck, and if you decide to let Blown Concepts do your graphics, be sure to show us some images of the finished product.

I hate to burst your bubble, but unless your going over 300 mph don't expect anything but more dirt.
Ram air is a Myth, google it.
