Yes your right about the inexperienced riders. However, my idea were the riders with more physical debilitation's. For instance, I have a friend who has suffered a shoulder injury; ordinarily he struggles just to be able to ride his quad around his farm. Last year he rode my Grizzly and was actually able to steer it. Now he owns a Grizzly with EPS. As for the damping effect, I don't think this was an intentional idea when they create the EPS on ATV's it just works that way.

Average riders do not consider a steering stabilizer, and in most cases te average rider doesn't need one. I have never needed one on any of my quads until I got my sport quad. And you saw the type of riding I do with it. There are pro's who like them and many who hate them. Many only want them for the sheer bling rating and will never push a machine to the limits in which a damper is necessary.

The front tortion bar can only help. You fellas with more seat time on the older models are better judges as to how the Gade handles. I am not the biggest fan of the Gade's handling characteristis myself so hopefully the torsion bar will help that.

Well having gone from a Grizz700 with EPS to a Gade-X, I can say the biggest thing I immediately and still miss about my Grizz was the power steering. A grizzly (without EPS) in 4 wheel diff lock mode is a bear to steer. However, with EPS, I was able to steer it in 4wd diff lock mode single-handedly with no effort where my friend with a 660 was struggling to turn his with both arms in diff lock mode.

So, that being said, I had originally said that if can-am brought power steering to the 2010 i would sell my 09 800-X as quick as I could and buy the 2010. However, they priced it too high so they won't be getting that money from me. It's very possible that due to their elevated pricing scheme, in a year or so I will sell mine to buy something bigger that is priced more intelligently. Don't get me wrong, I love my Gade but I ain't one to keep stuff very long before I get bored and want to swap up. However, I think 12,200 for a 4-wheeler is almost a pompous expectation on their part.

Screw power steering! When I got my V someone asked me what I was going to do without power steering. I said :what do I need power steering for? The front wheels never touch the ground."

Same should hold true for the Gade! :-)
