No worries my friend. A thread is simply this conversation or a series of posts to a topic. No one here is that uptight that we don't understand when people are new computers or the sport. As for your quad, it kinda baffles me. I would start with a repair manual or owner manual troubleshoot chart. Clymer makes a really nice repair manual.
