You would think that Kawasaki would release early info just to keep others from jumping ship and buying a different make, as so many are wanting a larger Brute.
For me, I'll pass on the upcoming M.E, Brute, I'm concerned with the additional weight. I really like the weight on my Brute and the way it handles as I have it set up.
A Outlander 800 that I owned for a short period proved to me that the extra power of the 800 was not noticeable Vs the BF750 on the trails I ride here. Mainly comes down to gearing, the Brute 750 is in the low/midrange powerband where the 800 was mid/high range powerband, I guess the reason why the 800 gets better mpg. Can-am isn't honest either in their weight claims, as the MSO stated 692 lbs, not the 642 claimed, this was a non XT model too.
It should be a good year in 2011 for new 4wheelers, as Kawasaki isn't the only one with a New flagship, Suzuki has a new VTwin coming too.

Looks more like they got curb weight confused. But you are right the Brute has a lot more low end torque than the Gades and Outy I have ridden. Where the sacrifice is is when you get to mid range, the Outy and Gade can walk away and the Brute flattens a bit; as it should with 50 less CC's.
I think you'll see Kawie start integrating EPS. A got the inside scoop last year from a Kawie guy stating they wouldn't make a machine any bigger or with EPS because it goes beyand theircorporate strategy of providing a powerful machine with a price tag lower than everything else in it's class. That was last year, now this year everyone but Kawie has power stearing available on their flagship vehicles. They will need to do something.
