Daryl, since you said that when it was running and you rinsed it off, it cut off, that insinuates that you wet a connector that has caused the problem. Do you have any idea what area of the quad you were rinsing when it cut off as this may give you an idea of the area that got wet? If you can recall this particular area, then I would suggest finding any connector close by, pulling it apart, skeeting it with either WD-40 or an electrical connection cleaner, then shooting it with dielectric grease and putting it back together.

This will give you a better idea of what may be going on and possibly solve your problem. If you do what I have suggested and the problem isn't resolved, then we have a starting point. However, since you said that when you were rinsing it off, the problem occurred, then it implies the problem is water-based and probably connection-based.

Please give us more feedback after doing that.
